Teladoc is a virtual platform that provides general health, metal health 1:1 counseling, and psychiatry services. These services are available to all students.
DeBruce Hall, 2nd floor: The team provides assistance with degree planning, course selection, and academic support services/skill development. Services also include writing support and peer academic coaches.
Work with the writing assistant for any part of the process - brainstorming, outlining, researching, final edits! Work with a peer academic coach to develop study strategies, improve notetaking skills, project planning, time management, work/life/school balance, accountability and more!
DeBruce Hall, 2nd floor: Disability services provides assistance to students with physical, psychological, ADD/ADHD and learning disabilities who are eligible for reasonable accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
DeBruce Hall, 2nd floor: The team assists students with enrollment, changes in classes, transcripts, academic policies, verification of enrollment, international student enrollment, etc.
Business Office, DeBruce Hall, 2nd floor: The Business Office provides assistance for students who may have questions related to tuition/fee payment, payment for parking tickets, and adding money to print accounts.
Located in DeBruce Hall, 2nd floor: The team provides support for students receiving and/or applying for federal financial aid, grants, loans, and scholarships. The team also coordinates the student work study program.
The Kansas City Art Institute has implemented a campus-wide Emergency Alert System, which will provide emails and mobile alerts to all members of the college community who have signed up. The system is reserved for emergency situations and weather-related school closings.
Barbara Marshall Residence Hall, 1st floor, 816-931-6666: The team is available 24/7 for issues/concerns related to campus safety and security. The office issues campus IDs, parking stickers, parking tickets, and also coordinates the campus Safe Ride program (escorts to and from cars/apartments).
Barbara Marshall Residence Hall (BMRH), 1st floor: Professional and student staff (RAs) work together in providing a safe and supportive living environment for residents in BMRH and the Extended Stay Hotel.
Mineral Hall, 1st floor: The Professional Practice Center (PPC) at KCAI works with students to achieve their career goals, including internships, exploring job opportunities, and coordination of the PPC Portal.
