Current issues of our subscriptions are available for you to view! They can be found in the first floor reading rooms on the metal shelves flanking the fireplaces. The most recent issue is on display on the shelf, but if you lift the row, previous issues can be found.
On the first floor, within the stacks, the journals and magazines range from 1996 to the current issue (or latest purchased issue, as some subscriptions have been suspended).
If you'd like to inquire about an issue prior to 1996, please contact library@kcai.edu. All historical issues are kept within the archives.
3x3 covers the art of contemporary illustration. Their mission statement is "to preserve, protect, and promote illustration in all its forms." They offer conferences, podcasts, portfolio reviews, juried exhibitions, workshops, affordable magazines and books (print and digital), to inform and inspire illustrators, allowing them to learn from the experiences of their contemporaries.
ADBUSTERS is "a global collective of writers, artists, designers, musicians, poets, philosophers and punks."They are a non-profit organization entirely supported by their readers, where all funds generated get poured back into publication. This allows the ADBUSTERS to "remain fiercely independent in what [they] do and say."

Advocate covers Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer news and politics. The website serves as a live feed of relative current events. Our subscription of Advocate is accompanied by the magazine Out; a publication that covers Gay & Lesbian travel, fashion, culture, and politics.
