Did you know that approximately 1000 books found in our online catalog through Jannes Library are actually held in the Cohen Resource Room at the H&R Block Artspace?

 

About this library:

  • Located next to the bright yellow Fiber building on the KCAI campus. 
  • Open to the public during Artspace gallery hours!
    • Wednesday through Saturday 12:00PM to 5:00PM (as of 2024)
  • Hosts exhibitions drawn from KCAI’s permanent collection.
  • Houses a growing collection of art and exhibition-related resources includes...
    • Museum publications
    • Exhibition catalogs
    • Artist monographs
    • Videos
    • Art journals and periodicals from individuals, museums, and galleries around the world.
  • Please note that all items located in the Artspace are library use only. 
  • When searching the Jannes Library catalog, an items location will read "KCAI Artspace Cohen Resource Room," if located there!
  • HELPFUL HINT: When you search an Asterisk " * " in the KCAI catalog, you can preview all items within our collection. By then modifying your search, you can filter your results to only items within the Cohen Resource Room. This is a great way to browse their collection if they are closed or you have a limited time for research!
