How do I create an account?

Your account already exists!  When logged into your kcai.edu email account, go to https://classroom.google.com/h
NOTE: Your 'kcai.edu' email address is a gmail account.  It is gmail with a customized 'kcai'.  No need to create a different email.

Where do I login to Google Classroom

You can login to your kcai.edu account at google.com and click on gmail, and then go to: https://classroom.google.com/h

You can also go directly to https://classroom.google.com/h where you will then be prompted to select a gmail account with which to log in (if you are not already logged in).

How do I create a course in Google Classroom?

Once you go to https://classroom.google.com/h, click the plus symbol +  in the upper right of the screen and click Create class.

NOTE: If you are an instructor (or KCAI staff) and are unable to create a course in Google Classroom, ask Campus Tech to enable it for you.  You must use your KCAI.EDU email to do this.  To ask Campus Tech, email: helpdesk@kcai.edu.

• Emphasize to your students that they must go to:  https://classroom.google.com/h  in order to access Google Classroom.
  • They can log into their 'kcai.edu' account from the classroom URL, or they can login through gmail and then navigate to the classroom URL
• Student accounts already exist.  To join your class, you will need to provide the students with the class key in order for them to get into your course - OR - 
• You also have the option of adding / inviting students to the course through the 'People' section at the top of the class.
• Compress your files - When creating slideshows with audio, compress your files to make uploads and processing easier
