The New York Times - Established in 1851, the New York Times has the 2nd largest circulation in the United States.  The online version of this publication includes sections on international and national news, as well as science, arts, business, technology with multimedia and podcasts and more.

The Washington Post - The Washington Post is one of the leading daily newspapers in the United States.  It is distinguished for political reporting.

KCUR 89.3 - KCUR is a local Kansas City news outlet.  KCUR programming can be found on FM radio station 89.3 as well as online.  Content includes local reporting as well as content from NPR, National Public Radio.

The Chronicle of Higher Education - The Chronicle of Higher Education is published every weekday and is the top destination for news, advice, and jobs for people in academe.  Based in Washington, D.C., The Chronicle has more than 70 writers, editors, and international correspondents.  This is a subscription based publication offering some free content.  

Jannes Library has access to Full-Text from 1999 to the present with a 30 day delay through our database subscription with Academic Search Elite.
